These Slow Cooker Honey Buffalo Meatballs are a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors. They make a great appetizer or a delicious main dish served over rice.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, green onions, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Mix well
Shape the mixture into meatballs
In a slow cooker, mix buffalo sauce, honey, and soy sauce
Place the meatballs into the sauce mixture in the slow cooker
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until meatballs are cooked through
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry
Stir the slurry into the sauce in the slow cooker and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until sauce thickens
Serve meatballs hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions
