Ingredients:

  • 12 oz trottole pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish optional

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to cook trottole pasta until it is al dente

Remove the water and set it aside

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat

It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of cooking after adding the diced chicken until it is browned and fully cooked

Put minced garlic in the pan and cook for one minute, until the garlic smells good

You can add broccoli florets and cook for three to four more minutes, until they are just starting to get soft

Add the heavy cream and chicken broth and stir to mix

Bring to a low boil

Toss the cooked trottole pasta and shredded cheddar cheese around in the pan until the cheese melts and the pasta is evenly covered

Add pepper and salt to taste

If you want, you can add chopped parsley as a garnish

Enjoy while hot!
